Afghanistan
I ordered this knife while deployed to Afghanistan on my sixth tour. I've always wanted the Military Classic, but hadn't gotten it until now. Since it arrived in the mail, I've had it on my hip almost every day. The blade came sharp as a straight razor. Literally. So far it has kept it's edge very well, being San Mai III. I slightly honed it last night with a ceramic TriSeps stone just to maintain the factory edge. This knife has been used to cut everything from 550 cord to unopened water bottles (for fun), and even split wood. No problem. The only issues I have encountered with this knife are A.) The guard has a slight bit of back and forth vertical play now. Not really enough to truly affect anything, but I noticed it and B.) the leather sheath has definitely seen some abuse already - the point end is beginning to separate from whacking things when I sit down although the stitching is keeping it all together, and the same circumstances have cause the point to start to come through the side of the sheath near the end, since there is a whole lot more room down there than needed. The snaps on the backside of the sheath also mar the blade and have removed much of the laser etch writing on the blade.
In the end, I believe the sheath needs a serious rework - something with MOLLE attachments would be especially useful. The sheath has been the main cause of the bolster loosening and the other issues, but the blade is absolutely solid - built like a tank, and aside from acquiring some "character" from the use here, it's still looking great. I feel like this is the last fixed blade knife I will ever need to buy.

Very solid
I purchased this knife two years ago and it has yet to show any signs of wear on the blade. Its handle has one very small nick as does the handguard. I have carried this in every condition possible. Yes even in water. It has a problem place where the handguard is held against the blade. Just clean that on a regular basis and this knife will last you a very long time.
Best fixed blade knife I have owned.
