Awesome Balance
When I ordered this machete I expected it to be a good hack and slasher like all of Cold Steel's machetes. Instead, I was surprised to find that it is not only perfectly suited for powerful chops and slashes, it is actually balanced so well by the weight and length of the handle, that you can actually wield it one-handed (gripping the handle at the top nearer to the blade) to perform more delicate precision cuts. Even more amazingly, I found that it is unlike any other machete I have ever used in the fact that it is so well balanced that you can deliver surprisingly solid and accurate hooking stabs (from rising and descending to horizontal stabs). With the versatility this blade offers because of its perfect balance in weight and proportions, this machete will suit nearly any survival situation (from rough work to finer jobs such as combat). This is an awesome machete – definitely worthy of being rated "Excellent".

I like it
I like cold steel machete alot anyway, but the option to hold this one or two handed is very nice. I wish it was a little thicker blade, but its still a good brush blade.
